La marque Max Factor, jusqu'à maintenant, jamais entendu parlé ! Et pourtant j'adore trouver de vernis de marques peu connues. Sauf que là avec la folie suscitée par ce vernis chez les accro aux Nail Art, impossible de ne pas en entendre parlé, un soi-disant dupe du fameux pipi de licorne, Clarins 230 ! Alors je ne pourrais jamais comparer tellement ce dernier est difficile à trouver et hors de prix, ceci dit quand j'ai vu les swatch sur le net je ne pouvais faire autrement que de me procurer... ce qui ne fût pas chose facile il n'est trouvable qu'en Angleterre et le peu de sites qui ne vendent ne livrent pas outre-manche (comprenez ne livrent qu'en Angleterre, voir à la fin de l'article)... heureusement que j'ai une copine basée à Londres qui a eu la gentillesse de renvoyer ici aux USA. Bon trève de bavardage...

But here with the madness aroused among varnish and Nail Art addicts, impossible not to hear about it, supposedly a dupe of the famous unicorn pee, Clarins 230! So I could never compare so it is difficult to find and very expensive, that being said when I saw swatches on the net I could not help but get me ... This was not an easy thing because it is sold in England and the few websites that do sell it do not deliver oversea (means only deliver in England, see end of article) .. . luckily I have a friend based in London that was kind enough to return it here in the U.S.. well stop talking ...

Alors evidemment je savais que ce vernis n'est pas très opaque, donc j'ai voulu le poser sur Dreamer (du pipi de licorne sur un multichrome, le mélange parfait), j'ai mis deux couches, j'aurais pu en mettre plus tellement à chaque couches j'étais émerveillée par la couleur, les reflets... mais bon le flacon est petit donc j'économise, mais un jour je vous le présenterai seul (quand j'aurais fini de vous présenter les 50000 autres vernis que je n'ai jamais essayer, c'est un peu exagérer mais on est pas loin du compte LOL). la couleur est magique, même si je suis un peu décue par les photos qui ne reflètent pas vraiment la magnificience de ce vernis, enfin ça donne déjà une bonne idée.

So obviously I knew that this varnish is not very opaque, so I wanted to put it on Dreamer (the unicorn pee on a multichromatic, the perfect mix), I put two layers, I could have put more so with each layer I was amazed by the color, reflections ... well but the bottle is small so I save, but one day I'll try it alone (when I finish to present the 50,000 other polish I've never try, it's a bit exaggerated but it is not far from reality LOL). Color is magical, even though I am a little disappointed by the pictures becaus they do not really reflect the magnificence of this varnish, then it gives a good idea.

Je crois que c'est la première fois pour moi que c'est aussi difficile de me procurer un vernis. Simplement parce que la marque Max Factor n'est vendue qu'en Angleterre (et aussi en Belgique apparement merci Nolita pour l'info), même sur internet on ne le trouve que sur des sites UK qui ne livrent pas plus loin... que l'Angleterre. Donc bonne chance, soit vous allez visiter Londres, soit pour pouvez tenter ebay.com ou ebay.co.uk mais vous risquez de payer cher !

I think this is the first time for me that it is so difficult to get a varnish. Simply because the brand Max Factor is sold only in England (and even in Belgium thanks Nolita for the information), even on internet it is found on UK sites that do not deliver further ... than England. Après avoir ajouté des paillettes à mon vernis Top Turquoise, j'avais envie d'autre chose, pourtant je l'ai porté comme ça 2 jours, et puis voilà j'ai ajouté des petites fleurs ! Youhou c'est la manucure qui s'approche le plus d'un nail art depuis que je suis arrivée aux US, par manque de temps malheureusement... mais bon même si le vernis commence à s'user au niveau du bord libre j'ai bien aimé cette petite déco qui me donne vraiment envie de me remettre au stamping, strass etc...

After adding glitters to my Top Turquoise lacquer, I wanted something else, though I wore it for 2 days, and then here I added small flowers! Woah this is the first mani that is closest to Nail Art since I came to the U.S., lack of time unfortunately ... but if the varnish begins to wear out at the free edge I liked this little decoration which makes me really want to get back to stamping, strass etc. ...

Il y a des fois comme ça ou je ne sais vraiment pas quel vernis mettre, alors je pioche au hasard dans ma petite collection, et cette fois-ci c'est le vernis Top Turquoise de Model Own ! Il est turquoise, un turquoise un peu terne, ce qui n'est pas péjoratif, c'est juste que ce n'est pas une couleur flashy (pourtant en regardant la photo sur le site de Model Own je croyais que si), car même si la couleur en elle même est originale, il reste discret. l'application est délicate car la texture est trop couvrante mais il ne s'étale pas uniformement. Je n'ai mis que deux couches et on ne voit plus le manque d'uniformité. Bref j'aime bien mais ce n'est pas un de mes vernis préféré.

There is some moments like that whenr I really do not know which polish to wear, so I pick one randomly from my small collection, and this time it is Top Turquoise from Model Own! It is turquoise, a turquoise a bit dull, which is not pejorative, it's just that it's not a flashy color (looking at the photo on the website of Model Own I thought so), because even if the color itself is original, it remains discreet. The application is difficult because the texture is really opaque, but it does not spread uniformly. I put two layers and you can not see the inconsistency. Well I like but it's not one of my favorite polish.

Petite trève dans les swatch de vernis pour vous montrer ma Birchbox du mois de mai. Et oui quand je suis arrivée aux US, j'ai fais une demande d'inscription, mais il faut attendre un peu avant de pouvoir réellement s'inscrire (ils ouvrent les inscriptions une fois par mois seulement), et puis attendre aussi de recevoir la première box... En plus j'ai trop de chance la box du mois de mai est une édition spéciale Gossip Girl !

And yes when I came to the U.S., I am applying for subscription, but you have to wait a bit before you can actually sign up (they open registrations once a month only), and then also wait to receive the box ... In addition I was so lucky because the box of May is a special  Gossip Girl edition!

Alors pour ma première box je suis ravie, il y a un vernis Color club mini format, Disco nap de la collection Foil. Apres il y a aussi un liner liquide bleu pailletté stila, une crème teintée Dr.Jart+ et 3 échantillons Kerastase (shampoing, après-shampoing et sérum). J'ai déjà testé les échantillons kérastase, le shampoing et après-shampoing sont top, le sérum par contre c'est galère, la version normale c'est un spray, sauf que le c'est une mini bouteille, donc galère à appliquer, et si on en met trop ça graisse les cheveux. J'ai aussi essayé le liner, j'aime beaucoup la couleur, l'utilisation est ultra simple et le résultat dure longtemps. je suis assez contente de cette box, j'attends de voir les prochaines avec impatience.

So for my first box I am glad there there was a mini varnish Color Club, Disco Nap from the Foil collection. After there was also a blue liquid glitter liner from Stila, a tinted day cream from Dr.Jart+ and 3 kerastase samples (shampoo, conditioner and serum). I've tested the samples from Kerastase, shampoo and conditioner are top, but the serum is a mess, the normal version is a spray, but the sample is a mini bottle without spray, so really difficult to apply , and if you put too much it greases hair. I also tried the liner, I love the color, the use is very simple and the result lasts.I'm pretty happy with this box, I can not wait to see the next.

Pour moi la Zoya Blogger Collection by Birchbox c'était un peu le truc à ne pas louper, une collection en edition limitée avec des couleurs ultra sympa et parfaite pour l'été ! Bref je l'ai commandée et j'étais très impatiente de les essayer. J'ai commencé par celui qui a priori me plaisait le moins, Coraline. Pourquoi me plaisiait le moins, parce que les tons oranges c'est pas trop mon truc. Coraline est un orange mandarine a la texture jelly; qui dit texture jelly dit opacité nulle ! Il a donc fallut ici 4 couches (3 auraient suffit mais j'ai voulu tenter une couche supplémentaire). Pas besoin de top coat il est laqué à souhait, juste parfait. finalement je l'aime beaucoup, et en plus la tenue est parfaite, je l'ai gardé une semaine et il n'a pas bougé, même sans top coat !! Du coup j'ai trop hâte d'essayer les deux autres^^

For me Zoya Blogger Collection by Birchbox was the thing not to miss, a limited edition collection  with ultra cool and perfect colors for summer! Well I ordered it and I could not wait to try them. I started with the one that a priori that I liked the least, Coraline. Why I was not supposed to like it, because orange tones are not my favorites. Coraline is a tangerine orange jelly, which says no opacity! Therefore here I had four layers (three would be sufficient but I wanted to try an additional coat). No top coat needed, it is lacquered to perfection, just perfect. I finally love it, and I kept it a all week and it did not move, even without top coat! So I can not wait to try the others^^
